What to be wary of with this timber
  Tannins can bleed through when using a water based coating which results in a darker finish. Consult an experienced sander to ensure they know how to reduce the possibility of this occurring.
  This timber can be confused with New England blackbutt or WA blackbutt, make sure you are comparing like for like if considering this timber
